DESCRIPTION:Bike events have the power to bring people together — yet too often\, they fall short of being fully inclusive. Many organizers want to make their events more accessible and welcoming\, but don’t always have the tools to get there. This webinar aims to help fill that gap for our network of bike advocates by offering real-world insights\, practical strategies\, and encouragement from leaders who are centering inclusion in the bike movement\, even as broader political and cultural forces push against it. We’ll hear from a panel of leaders advancing inclusive biking\, including Marley Blonsky of All Bodies on Bikes\, Anna Zivarts of Disability Rights Washington\, and Rachel Olzer of All Bikes Welcome. Together\, we’ll explore what it takes to build bike events that actively welcome people of diverse backgrounds\, identities\, and abilities and why this work is essential to the future of the bike movement.
